These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to your use of LocalMuse (“the App”), an on-device AI image generation and editing app for iPhone and iPad.
LocalMuse is licensed under the Apple Standard End User License Agreement (EULA) .
By downloading or using LocalMuse, you agree to the Apple Standard EULA and these Terms. If these Terms conflict with a mandatory provision of the Apple Standard EULA, the Apple Standard EULA controls.
LocalMuse processes prompts, source images, masks, generation settings, and generated images locally on your device. This creative content is not sent to a cloud AI-generation server.
Some features require downloading an AI model before they can run. Model downloads require an internet connection and sufficient free storage.
AI models available through LocalMuse are provided by third parties and are governed by their respective licenses and usage restrictions. Model and license information is available in the App under Settings > Acknowledgements & Licenses.
Before a model download begins, LocalMuse identifies the external file provider, explains which technical network information is sent and which creative data is not sent, and asks for your permission. By choosing “Allow & Download” or “Allow & Update,” you request that LocalMuse connect to the identified provider and download and install the selected model. If you choose Cancel, the App does not start that download.
Models may be updated, removed, or become unavailable without notice. LocalMuse does not guarantee the continued availability or compatibility of any particular model.
You retain any rights you have in your prompts, source images, and generated results, subject to applicable law, third-party rights, and the license of the model you use.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights and permissions for the content you use with LocalMuse. You must not use the App to create or distribute unlawful, harmful, infringing, deceptive, or non-consensual content.
AI-generated results may be inaccurate, unexpected, or similar to existing material. You are responsible for reviewing results before saving, sharing, publishing, or using them commercially.
LocalMuse uses Apple system frameworks and third-party model-hosting services. After your permission, model downloads may connect to Hugging Face, Inc., GitHub, Inc., or their delivery infrastructure. These services act as file hosts, not as cloud AI-inference services. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

Information about how LocalMuse handles data is available in the LocalMuse Privacy Policy . Model-download requests include the technical network information disclosed in the App, but do not include prompts, source images, masks, or generated images.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LocalMuse, downloadable models, and generated results are provided “as is” and “as available.” Performance, generation time, model compatibility, and available features may vary by device, operating system version, storage, memory, temperature, and selected settings.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer law.
These Terms may be updated when LocalMuse, available models, or applicable legal requirements change. The updated version will be published on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
